XAFS Database News

This file will normally be used for announcements of recent additions to the database and other news. It was last modified on September 10, 1997.

The IXS site and database are now on a Linux system, with the web address IXS.IIT.EDU. We are also pursuing obtaining the domain of IXS.ORG, which will refer to the same machine. This Linux system is donated by the Center for Synchrotron Radiation Research and Instrumentation at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
