Postdoctoral Fellowship in XAS
Postdoctoral Position in Transition Metal Oxide Research
The New Jersey Institute of Technology will have an opening
(subject to NSF funding) at the postdoctoral level. The
researcher will be involved in core-level multiplet
structure, multiple scattering, and band structure
calculations on transition-metal compounds (High Temperature
Superconductors and Magnetic Oxides). The researcher will
also perform XAFS (under ambient and high vacuum
conditions), X-Ray Emission and DAFS measurements on these
systems at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
